Physicist pretending to be a software engineer

Hello! I’m Richard.

I received my MS in Physics from SF State University where I studied the atmosphere of Jupiter, worked at Boeing as an embedded software engineer on the EA-18G Growler while learning C++ on the job for 2 years, and for now I’m enjoying being a homemaker, working on personal tech projects, and looking for employment.

I figure things out, and not in the “copy-pasta from stack exchange and call it a day” kind of way; when I confront a problem I find a solution, figure out why it works, understand the drawbacks, and explore other possible solutions so I can worry that I maybe chose the wrong solution.
